painted porcelain.
Overview
I had interest china painting in 1996. I started to study china
painting seriously in 2000. As I met Mr. Kitada (a great china
painter and my teacher), I had strong mind to be a professional
china painter.
bara-kobo
"bara-kobo" means the "Rose Studio" in Japanese.
The name of this site is loaded with my plans for my own art
studio.
"Rose" contains some thoughts. First, rose is my favourite
flower. Also, rose is a common and important motif for porcelain
painting, and one of most difficult to draw. Finally, rose is
a national flower of my favourite country, England. For these
reasons, I named my studio the "Rose Studio". |
